Reacher season 3 is currently in production, and a key role has been filled. According to Cinema Blend a hulking unit has been cast.
The third season will be based on Lee Child’s book Persuader. In this Reacher adventure, he ends up undercover in Maine, in a lakeside facility owned by a drug trafficker.
When Reacher witnesses an attempted kidnapping, events spiral out of control and see him pulled into a complex and fast moving DEA operation to snare the trafficker – Beck (Anthony Michael Hall).
Beck is surrounded by bodyguards, and chief among them is a mentally unstable bodybuilder described in the book as being taller and wider than even Reacher.
This role will be played by Olivier Richters.
Standing 7 feet and 2 inches tall, Richters is known as “The Dutch Giant” and has played notably large characters in Gangs Of London, Black Widow, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and The King’s Man.
The rest of the known cast includes Brian Tee, Sonya Cassiday, Johnny Berchtold, Roberto Montesinos, and Daniel David Stewart. Maria Sten returns as Frances Neagley.
No release date is yet known for the third season. It is likely to be very late 2024 or early 2025.
Reacher remains one of the highest rated and watched Amazon Prime shows of all time.
