A few weeks back came some set photos from the currently shooting fourth season of Netflix’s fantasy series “The Witcher,” the shots showing off new Geralt actor Liam Hemsworth’s stunt-double or stand-in at work on the set.
The other day however, the first real photos of Hemsworth at work on the show’s set emerged via Rendanian Intelligence. The Aussie actor takes over the role of Geralt of Rivia from “Man of Steel” star Henry Cavill who exited the role.
The photos appear to recreate a scene from the third season in which Vilgefortz was victorious in a fight against Geralt. One of the photos also shows Hemsworth’s Geralt in full White Wolf armor.
The photos come a few weeks after Netflix announced that the series will come to an end with its fifth season. Production only recently began on the fourth so it will likely be some time off.
Newcomers to the new run include Laurence Fishburne as barber-surgeon Regis, Sharlto Copley as bounty hunter Leo Bonhart, James Purefoy as Skellen, and Danny Woodburn as dwarf Zoltan.
The fourth season of “The Witcher” isn’t expected to debut on the streamer until the latter half of 2025.
