A first look at Michael B. Jordan on the New Orleans set of Ryan Coogler’s untitled period supernatural film has gone online.

Coogler wrote the script for the film which is said to unfold in the Jim Crow-era South and involves both vampires and Southern supernatural traditions.

Jordan is rumored to be playing dual roles as twin brothers, and the likes of Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Lola Kirke, Li Jun Li, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson and Delroy Lindo co-star in the movie which opens March next year.

It has also recently been revealed via Deadline that Jordan is developing the sci-fi action thriller “T-Minus” for Amazon MGM Studios.

Drew Pearce and Nick Cuse are penning the film’s script with project being described as “Top Gun meets Back to the Future, with a Philip K. Dick twist”.

The film is an adaptation of Dick’s 1974 sci-fi short story “A Little Something For Us Tempunauts”. That follows a group of time travelers from the U.S. who are sent a few days into the future rather than a century as planned.

They soon learn that not only was their return from the future fatal to them, but they are also trapped in a closed time loop. So they deliberate whether to break out of it as it likely means certain death.

Jordan also earlier today reposted the “Deadpool & Wolverine” trailer on his timeline, spawning a bunch of speculation about his potentially cameoing in that film.
