Marvel Studios films are known for their stingers during a film’s credit sequence. These brief segments can be jokes, teases of events to come in the MCU, or standalone scenes of sorts.

Following the release of the second trailer for “Deadpool & Wolverine” this week, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld has been online a bunch to tease the film and it seems he knows what the film’s post-credits scene will be months before it hits cinemas.

He responded to scooper MyTimeToShineHello’s comments about the post-credits scene which they claim “is so mind blowing” that they “can’t believe they were able to pull this off without anyone knowing”.

Liefeld corroborates said post, saying on X that they “ain’t lying to you” – suggesting the scene goes beyond a simple single cameo and could involve multiple actors.

Liefeld also retweeted a quote from AP News with the film’s director Shawn Levy who promises audiences will not have to watch any other MCU projects before seeing the new movie:

“I very much made this film with certainly a healthy respect and gratitude towards the rabid fan base that has peak fluency in the mythology and lore of these characters and this world. But I didn’t want to presume that. This movie is built for entertainment, with no obligation to come prepared with prior research.”

Liefeld himself was the subject of an easter egg in the trailer with a store sign in one scene saying “Liefeld’s Just Feet” referring to the way he seems to have an inability to draw feet in his comics.
