John Cleese: Cancel Me
It looks like John Cleese’s proposed docuseries about cancel culture, titled “John Cleese: Cancel Me,” is unlikely to go forward on Channel 4 in the UK. The update comes three years afer it was announced.
The broadcaster reportedly could not come to a deal with Cleese with the reasoning being put down to scheduling issues. Sources for the network say the broadcaster would like to return to the project, but it’s unclear if Cleese is still interested in pursuing it. [Source: Deadline]
Knuckles
Paramount+ has released a new video going into the cast of its upcoming “Sonic the Hedgehog” spin-off series “Knuckles” which stars Idris Elba, Adam Pally, Scott Mescudi, Ellie Taylor and more.
The spin-off will follow Knuckles on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. It launches in full on April 26th.
House of the Dragon
Max has released a new video tied to the upcoming second season of its “Game of Thrones” spin-off series “House of the Dragon” which premieres June 16th. In the clip, the main cast members argue for their team – Team Black and Team Green – as rightful successor to the Iron Throne.
My Adventures with Superman
Adult Swim has premiered a brief first look at the second season of its animated series “My Adventures with Superman” which has yet to reveal a release date.
The clip sees Clark visiting the Fortress of Solitude and hints at the potential arrival of Supergirl. The series sees Jack Quaid back as Clark Kent, Alice Lee as Lois Lane, and Ishmel Sahid as Jimmy Olsen.
Interview with the Vampire
AMC+ has released another trailer for the second season of “Interview with the Vampire” which returns May 12th. The clip goes into the three ‘absolute laws’ that every vampire must adhere to.
