Ahead of their CinemaCon presentation tomorrow morning, Lionsgate has announced a slew of release date changes to its slate.
First up, the Bill Skarsgård-led reboot of “The Crow” from filmmaker Rupert Sanders has been pushed back two-and-a-half months from June 7th to August 23rd.
On its new date, it will take on Zoë Kravitz’s thriller “Blink Twice” and the faith-based title “The Forge”. The move also gives the June 7th weekend entirely to Sony’s “Bad Boys: Ride or Die”.
Meanwhile “Saw XI” remains in the development phase and so it is being delayed a year – from September 27th this year to September 26th 2025.
“Crawl” director Alexandre Aja’s “Never Let Go” starring Hally Berry which will have the September 27th release date to itself.
Lionsgate is also shifting its family movie “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” a week earlier and will now open on November 8th.
