Dan Stevens (“Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga”), Liv Hewson (“Yellowjackets”), and Kimiko Glenn (“Orange Is the New Black”) are set to join previously announced cast members Randall Park, Yvette Nicole Brown, Elijah Wood, and Ashley Johnson in the “Among Us” animated series at CBS Studios
Stevens will voice ‘Blue’, the charming, smart and handsome doctor. Hewson will voice ‘Black’, the stoic and coarse geologist who supervises the ore shipments. Glenn will voice ‘Cyan,’ the gemologist who is a big believer in spiritual healing through crystals.
CBS Eye Animation Productions and game developer Innersloth are behind the series which follows the premise of the game. In the game, the colorful members of a starship crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone.
In the games, players must root out the ‘Impostor(s)’ or fall victim to their murderous tendencies. Titmouse (“Star Trek: Lower Decks”) will serve as the animation studio for the series.
Owen Dennis is the creator and executive producer of the project under his overall deal with CBS Studios. Also executive producing are Forest Willard, Marcus Bromander, Carl Neisser, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina.
The series doesn’t have an outlet attached yet so it’s not clear where it will air.
