By Following their Oscar-winning collaborations on “The Favourite” and “Poor Things,” actress Emma Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos’ next feature together has set a release date.
Disney has announced that “Kinds of Kindness” will be released in cinemas on June 21st, with Searchlight Pictures handling distribution of the anthology film.
Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer co-star in the film which was written by Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou.
Lanthimos has called the project a “contemporary film, set in the US – three different stories, with four or five actors who play one part in each story.”
Shot late 2022 in New Orleans, the film was originally titled “And” but was changed back in December.
Stone and Lanthimos are expected to reunite again for the remake of 2003’s “Save the Green Planet”.
