All eight live-action “Spider-Man” films are returning to cinemas as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of Sony-owned Columbia Pictures.
Cinemark listings indicate the re-release event will run weekly between April and June 2024 and hopefully will have more success than the recent launch of spin-off “Madame Web”.
Things kick off with Sam Raimi’s original 2002 “Spider-Man” film on April 15th, followed by the second and third of the Tobey Maguire-led trilogy on April 22nd and 29th respectively.
May 6th will see the Andrew Garfield-led films coming out with “The Amazing Spider-Man” on May 6th and its sequel on May 20th.
Then the Tom Holland-led films begin on May 20th with “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and will wrap with “Spider-Man: No Way Home” on June 3rd.
Tickets for the re-releases are available at Cinemark now. Development on another Holland-led film was underway at Sony last year before the strikes impacted it.
