Shifting Gears
Tim Allen (“Last Man Standing,” “Home Improvement”) is set to return to ABC for a new sitcom titled “Shifting Gears” for the moment. Julie Thacker Scully and Mike Scully will co-write the pilot for 20th Television.

Allen will play a stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop whose estranged daughter moves into his house along with her teenage kids. The Scullys along with Allen, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Richard Baker, and Rick Messina will executive produce. [Source: TV Line]

Amazon MGM Studios has renewed Prime Video’s sci-fi comedy series “Upload” for a fourth and final season. Series creator Greg Daniels says in a statement the series was designed with four seasons in mind and so he’s “thrilled to make the ending the fans deserve and the characters and creative team have been working towards.” [Source: Amazon]

Monsters at Work
Disney has premiered the official trailer for the second season of its animated series “Monsters at Work” based on Pixar’s acclaimed “Monsters, Inc.” franchise. The series returns on Disney Channel and Disney XD on April 5th followed by a Disney+ launch on May 5th.

Tylor’s journey as a Jokester and his friendship with Val face the ultimate test. When new doors of opportunity unexpectedly open at rival energy company, FearCo, Tylor’s co-workers at Monsters Inc. begin to question his loyalty.

Loot
Apple TV+ has premiered the trailer for the second season of its comedy series “Loot” starring multi-Emmy Award-winning actress Maya Rudolph. The first two episodes premiere April 3rd and air through May 29th.

Focused mainly on her charity work, Molly has sworn off any new relationships with men – though still needs the occasional kale smoothie spiked with gin. Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nat Faxon, Ron Funches, and Joel Kim Booster return whilst Benjamin Bratt, Ana Gasteyer, and O-T Fagbenle guest star.
