CBS Studios is expanding the “NCIS” franchise with Michael Weatherly’s Tony DiNozzo and Cote de Pablo’s Ziva David to reunite on screen a decade later.

Paramount+ has handed out a ten-episode series order to the untitled spinoff (currently nicknamed “NCIS: Europe”) headlined by Weatherly and David and written by John McNamara (“The Magicians”).

When we last saw them, Ziva (de Pablo) reunited with Tony (Weatherly) and their daughter in Paris. Since then, they’ve been raising her together.

When Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, try to figure out who is after them and maybe even learn to trust each other again so that they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after.

It marks the second “NCIS” spin-off annnounced this year, the other being the Young Gibbs show “NCIS: Origins” which follows the young incarnation of Mark Harmon’s character.

This one also marks the second extension of the franchise beyond the U.S., following “NCIS: Sydney” which aired a few months back and was the most watched new series of the Fall.

De Pablo, Weatherly, McNamara, Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain and Shelley Meals executive produce.
