NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock has ordered four new scripted series, one of which is an untitled espionage drama led by “Shang-Chi” star Simu Liu and produced by James Wan.

Set in the near future, Liu plays an intelligence analyst who realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. He must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who is responsible and where his allegiance lies.

Thomas Brandon (“Legacies”) created the series and serves as writer and executive producer. Liu, Wan, Michael Clear and Rob Hackett executive produce. Wan also has the horror-thriller “Teacup” in the works for the streamer.

Next up, “Mr. Throwback” was originally setup at NBC and is now moving to Peacock. “Happy Endings” creator David Caspe and Matthew Libman and Daniel Libma are behind the project.

Adam Pally plays a down-on-his-luck memorabilia dealer who reunites with his sixth-grade teammate, NBA legend Steph Curry (Curry plays himself).

Third of the four is “Devil In Disguise,” a new show from “Dr. Death” producer Patrick Macmanus who serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer Patrick Macmanus. It will deal with infamous ‘Killer Clown’ serial killer John Wayne Gacy and the systemic failures that allowed him to kill nearly three dozen men and boys.

The fourth is “All Her Fault,” a series adaptation of the novel by Andrea Mara about a mother who goes to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school.

The woman who answers the door doesn’t have Milo – kicking off a terrifying journey. Megan Gallagher (“Wolf”) serves as the show’s creator, writer, and executive producer.

Finally, Peacock also released the first official trailer for its limited drama series “Apples Never Fall” based on the bestselling novel from Liane Moriarty (“Big Little Lies”). Annette Bening, Sam Neill, Jake Lacy and Alison Brie star in the series in which the matriarch of a tennis family dynasty disappears. The series launches March 14th.
