By Marvel Studios has released the first trailer and poster for their animated series “X-Men ’97” which serves as a revival of the iconic 1990’s “X-Men: The Animated Series”.
Beau DeMayo created and is the head writer on the new TV series which continues the events and story of that show set not long after that show ended.
In the new series Storm and Wolverine try to continue the X-Men whilst Magneto comes in and wants to step up for Charles Xavier. Sinister comes in to try to end the X-Men once and for all.
The ten-episode serves as the first X-Men project from Marvel Studios following the merger with 21st Century Fox.
Several cast members from the original series are returning including Cal Dodd, Lenore Zann, George Buza, Catherine Disher, Chris Potter, Alison Sealy-Smith, Adrian Hough, Christopher Britton, and Alyson Court.
The TV series will launch March 20th with a second season already in development.
