The release of the first trailer for Marvel Studios’ “Deadpool & Wolverine” has smashed all viewing records online.
In its first 24 hours after airing during the Super Bowl, the trailer was seen by 365 million people online.
That easily makes it the most viewed trailer of all time – beating the 355 million who tuned in for the first trailer for “Spider-Man: No Way Home”.
Both are ahead of the teaser and full trailer for “Avengers Endgame” which take the third and fourth most viewed trailers in their first day – clocking in at 289 million and 268 million respectively.
“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” “Avengers Infinity War,” “The Lion King,” “Thor: Love and Thunder” and “IT” also make the top ten.
Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Garner, Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Leslie Uggams, Rob Delaney, Stefan Kapicic, Karan Soni, and Shioli Kutsuna co-star in the film.
The movie sees Deadpool having to deal with the Time Variance Authority, the multi-verse hopping organization at the center of “Loki,” which will bring the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will officially be Marvel Studios’ first R-rated movie.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” opens in cinemas July 26th.
