Marvel Studios’ “Daredevil: Born Again” series has begun filming again, this time with a major creative overhaul now in place which will see it boast far stronger tie-ins to the prior Marvel Netflix series.
Already photos and videos from the set have started to flood across social media and it seems to be sticking to its mandate, with a ‘Nelson-Murdock-Page’ office sign spotted in one location.
Hours later Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll were seen on set in costume alongside Charlie Cox filming scenes of them walking out of their offices.
More surprising though is video and a photo shared from a storefront on the set of the series. Filmed at Midtown West Gourmet Deli on 10th Avenue in New York, the scene reportedly involves a fight that takes place inside the store.
Video and photos from the seen reveal a masked character who seems to be in a costume that would suggest the Marvel hero White Tiger is coming to the screen. The character’s addition to the MCU has not yet been confirmed by the studio and no actor for the role been revealed.
Several characters have been the White Tiger in the comics – a person with an amulet that sharpens their abilities (strength, stamina, combat skills, etc.) along with having the the ability to camouflage themselves.
This version is rumored to be Hector Ayala whom in the comics is wrongfully arrested for murder. Daredevil/Matt Murdock tried to defend him but failed, he was convicted and then shot dead trying to escape.
“Daredevil: Born Again” is expected to continue filming around New York for several months ahead of a 2025 release.
