It’s official, Guerrilla Games has announced a March 21st release date for the PC version of “Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition”.
The game hits the platform just over two years after it debuted on PS4 and PS5 in February 2022, and just a few months after the ‘Complete Edition’ version – which includes the ‘Burning Shores’ expansion previously only on PS5.
The PC port was handled by Nixxes Software in partnership with Guerrilla Games, Nixxes has drawn raves for its PC ports in the past including two “Marvel’s Spider-Man” titles and “Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart”.
Upgrades from the PS5 edition allows for unlocked frame rates, customizable graphics settings, fully customizable mouse and keyboard controls, ultra-wide support (up to 48:9), extensive controller support, and NVIDIA DLSS 3 upscaling and frame generation.
Also supported are AMD FSR and Intel XeSS, along with image-enhancing NVIDIA DLAA. The game will also be one of the few PC titles to make use DirectStorage – allowing for faster loading times.
Bonus content will include:
– Blacktide Outfit and Blacktide Bow* (available only with pre-purchase)
– Nora Legacy Outfit and Nora Spear* (available only when linking your Steam account to PlayStation
Network)
– 2 Special Outfits (Carja Behemoth Elite and Nora Thunder Elite)
– 2 Special Weapons (Carja Behemoth Short Bow and Nora Thunder Sling)
– In-game Resources Pack including ammunition, potions, and travel packs
– In-game Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike Piece
– Exclusive Photo Mode pose and face paint
The title will be priced at $59.99 and is now available to pre-purchase from Steam and Epic Games Store. Sony has also released a new trailer showing off features coming to the PS5 edition.
