A Real Pain
Searchlight Pictures has acquired worldwide rights to the Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin-led road trip film “A Real Pain” for $10 million.

The movie, which earned a standing ovation at Sundance, follows cousins who travel to their grandmother’s native Poland to partake in a Holocaust tour. Jennifer Grey and Will Sharpe also star. [Source: THR]

It’s What’s Inside
Netflix has snapped up the global rights for Greg Jardin’s mystery thriller “It’s What’s Inside” in a deal said to be around $17 million for the worldwide rights.

Brittany O’Grady, James Morosini, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Devon Terrell, Gavin Leatherwood, Reina Hardesty, Nina Bloomgarden and David Thompson star in the film about a pre-wedding party descends into an existential nightmare when an estranged friend shows up with a mysterious suitcase. G20
Amazon MGM Studios and MRC have filled out the cast of the Viola Davis-led, Patricia Riggen-directed action thriller “G20” in which terrorists overtake the G20 Summit. Noah and Logan Miller wrote the script.

The cast will now include “black-ish” duo Anthony Anderson and Marsai Martin, Ramon Rodríguez (“Will Trent”), Antony Starr (“The Boys”), Clark Gregg (“Agents of SHIELD”), Douglas Hodge (“The Great”), Elizabeth Marvel (“Homeland”), Sabrina Impacciatore (“The White Lotus”), as well as Christopher Farrar, John Hoogenakker, MeeWha Alana Lee, Theo Bongani Ndyalvane, Conrad Kemp, Joseph Steven Yang, Emmanuel Castis, David James and Noxolo Dlamini. Marvel’s What If
Marvel Studios has teased some of the new characters and alternate history premieres we’ll see in the third season of its animated anthology series “What If…?” which hasn’t set a premiere date as yet.

The first photos are out from the new season which sees Sam Wilson’s Captain America (Anthony Mackie) alongside Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) who seem to be teaming for a mission. The Red Guardian (David Harbour) can also be seen in the shots. [Source: Collider]

Avatar: The Last Airbender
A new poster is out for the live-action “Avatar: The Last Airbender” at Netflix with pretty much all the main cast of this adaptation. The series premieres on the service on February 22nd.
