It has been a busy day news-wise on the release date and production date front.

First up, DC Film News reports that James Wan’s “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is coming to digital platforms next week. They indicate the film will have its VOD release this coming Tuesday January 23rd – just five weeks after it opened in cinemas.

Next, World of Reel is reporting that filming on Matt Reeves’ “The Batman: Part II” is reportedly targeting an August start with the film’s script due to be submitted by February. At present the movie is still set for an October 3rd 2025 release.

Then, Netflix has announced that the Robbie and Stephen Amell-led sci-fi seque “Code 8 Part II” is set to arrive next month on the streaming platform – specifically February 28th.

Over on the Paramount+ service, the ten-episode second season of the Sylvester Stallone-led reality series “The Family Stallone” will premiere with weekly episodes from February 21st. Sly will return alongside his wife Jennifer Flavin, and three daughters, Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet.

Finally, Apple Studios has announced a March 1st official premiere date for its six-episode comedy adventure series “The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin”. Noel Fielding leads the cast of a whimsical take on 18th century English outlaws.
