Filmmaker Wes Anderson and actor Bill Murray will reunite on the former’s next film which is aiming to begin shooting in April reports World of Reel.
The site also indicates the film may have a potential working title of “The Pheonican Scheme”. Story details are under wraps at this time, but Anderson has referred to his new movie as an espionage thriller centering on a father-daughter relationship.
Anderson and Murray have worked together multiple times including “Rushmore,” “The Royal Tenenbaums,” “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou,” “The Darjeeling Limited,” “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” “Moonrise Kingdom,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “Isle of Dogs” and “The French Dispatch”.
Anderson revealed back in September that he and Roman Coppola had just finished writing the script for the film when the writer’s strike kicked off. At the time he said “so, when the time is right again, we’ve got a movie to make with Benicio Del Toro.”
Anderson also previously indicated Michael Cera will play a role in the film which hasn’t set a release date at this time.
Anderson is also coming off both “Asteroid City” and his Roald Dahl adaptation of “The Wonderful World of Henry Sugar”.
