Las Vegas
All five seasons of the 2003 NBC drama “Las Vegas” starring James Caan and Josh Duhamel, is coming to Peacock. The streamer will premiere the series on the SVOD service starting December 29th.

The project marked Caan’s first major TV series role and was a breakout part for Duhamel who was coming off daytime soaps. The series follows a team charged with maintaining the security of one of Las Vegas’ largest casinos. Nikki Cox, James Lesure, Vanessa Marcil, Molly Sims and Tom Selleck co-starred. The Holdovers
Focus Features has announced a December 29th Peacock streaming debut date for Alexander Payne’s comedy drama “The Holdovers” starring Paul Giamatti and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. The SVOD premiere comes nearly two months since the film had its theatrical release and received multiple awards and nominations. [Source: Focus Features]

Weapons
“Barbarian” director Zach Cregger will reportedly begin shooting his new film “Weapons” in February and run through mid-April 2024. Pedro Pascal and Renate Reinsve are set whilst Brian Tyree Henry, Tom Burke, Austin Abrams, and June Diane Raphael are all rumored for the film

The project is dubbed an “interrelated, multistory horror epic that tonally is in the vein of Magnolia” but with rumored witchcraft elements. New Line Cinema will release the project theatrically. [Source: World of Reel]

The Garfield Movie
Sony Pictures has released a new one-sheet for the upcoming “The Garfield Movie” starring Chris Pratt as the voice of the Monday-hating, lasagna-loving cat. The poster shows him alongside the new film’s version of Odie voiced by Harvey Guillen.

Samuel L. Jackson, Nicholas Hoult, Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Cecily Strong, Brett Goldstein and Bowen Yang co-star in the film which opens May 24th.
