By Peri Gilpin returns to the role of radio producer Roz Doyle for the first time since the original “Frasier” series ended in 2004 in the upcoming season finale of the “Frasier” revival.
To tease the episode, Paramount+ has released a clip from the episode ahead of its airing next week.
The episode, titled “Reindeer Games”, sees Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) having his first Christmas in his new home in Boston, and his first without his father Martin (John Mahoney) who passed away before the events of the series.
Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott) however has arranged a surprise visit from Roz. Gilpin’s return marks the second supporting character from the original to show up, the first being Bebe Neuwirth as Frasier’s ex-wife Lilith Sternin.
“Frasier” showrunner Joe Cristalli said he’d love to bring back more actors from the original show “as long as it feels organic to the story”.
The “Reindeer Games” episode will premiere on Paramount+ on December 7th.
