A new tale in the Mad Max Saga begins as Warner Bros. Studios releases the official trailer for the upcoming action film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. View trailer below.
As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
Totally forgot about this movie coming out. It’s been talked about for quite some time, and I thought it would never come to light. Thankfully, this first official trailer at the new movie is here and puts a “first look” at this upcoming project. Like many, Mad Max: Fury Road was quite action thrill ride that spoke to Miller’s past endeavors in the franchise and showcased plenty of fun and interesting characters, including Furiosa. There was a lot of unsaid depth to the character that the movie didn’t have time to fully disclose about her. Now, this preview from the upcoming Fury Road prequel will present Furiosa’s story, with Anya-Taylor Joy stepping in to play the younger version of the titular character. It will be interesting to see how this movie will play out, especially in comparison to Fury Road, but I, for one, am totally looking foward to seeing this film.
