The Abyss: Special Edition
Tickets are now on sale for the one-night-only cinema re-release of the ‘Special Edition’ version of James Cameron’s classic film “The Abyss” with the new 4K remaster of the 1989 film set to be shown.
The release on December 6th will precede the film’s release in 4K Ultra HD on digital platforms the following week. A 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray release will follow in March.
Foe
Prime Video has announced that the psychological thriller sci-fi film “Foe,” starring Paul Mescal and Saoirse Ronan, will start streaming on January 5th 2024.

Tiger Mask
Late 1960s Japanese manga series “Tiger Mask” is being adapted into a live-action feature by Fabula Pictures, Brandon Box and Japan’s Kodansha. Toei Animation previously adapted the property as an anime.
The story follows a ruthless professional Japanese wrestler named Naoto Date who, after making it big in the U.S., returns to his country and fights against evil forces. [Source: Variety]
Mooned
Illumination has premiered the official trailer for “Mooned,” their newest animated short movie which sees “Despicable Me” villain Vector return. The character was last seen in the 2010 film having been stranded on the moon.
The short will continue Vector’s story as he tries to find a way to get back to Earth. “Mooned” will be released on December 23rd alongside Illumination’s family comedy “Migration”.
Napoleon
Sony Pictures and Apple Studios have premiered a ‘final trailer’, which is essentially an extended critics TV spot, for Ridley Scott’s upcoming historical epic “Napoleon” which opens in cinemas on Wednesday.
The large-scale film details the checkered rise and fall of the iconic French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, played by Oscar-winner Joaquin Phoenix. The story captures Bonaparte’s relentless journey to power through the prism of his addictive, volatile relationship with his one true love, Josephine (Vanessa Kirby), showcasing his visionary military and political tactics.
