Empire has published the first photos from both the upcoming fourth “Beverly Hills Cop” film “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley,” and director Robert Eggers’ long-in-the-works “Nosferatu” remake.
Eddie Murphy reprises one of his most beloved roles as Axel Foley in the new “Beverly Hills Cop” which sees the return of Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot among others from the prior films.
Mark Molloy is directing off a script by Will Beall. Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman are producing. The first three movies grossed a combined $616.2 million worldwide.
They’re joined by new faces including Taylour Paige as Foley’s criminal defence attorney daughter, Kevin Bacon as a LAPD special-unit officer, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Foley’s new partner.
Meanwhile “Nosferatu” is “The Lighthouse” and “The Northman” director Robert Eggers’ new horror tale – a much-anticipated remake of F. W. Murnau’s highly influential 1922 vampire classic “Nosferatu”. Bill Skarsgård and Lily-Rose Depp co-star
Describing the title, Eggers says: “Yeah, it’s a scary film. It’s a horror movie. It’s a Gothic horror movie. I do think that there hasn’t been an old-school Gothic movie that’s actually scary in a while. And I think that the majority of audiences will find this one to be the case.”
“Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley” is coming to Netflix in 2024 whilst “Nosferatu” is going to cinemas next year.
