Paolo Mascitti, who is physically training actor David Corenswet for his role as Clark Kent/Superman in the upcoming “Superman: Legacy,” has taken to Instagram to post a photo of the actor at work in the gym.

Filmmaker James Gunn recently confirmed that “Superman: Legacy” will make its original release date of July 25th 2025 with production still on track to commence early next year, some indicating as early as January.

Corenswet has been photographed in public in recent months having put on muscle since getting the role, and it appears he’s gained even more since in the new photo.

The film also stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner, and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho.

Anti-hero team The Authority will also appear with news earlier this week María Gabriela de Faría has been cast as Angela Spica/The Engineer.

Casting is currently underway for Lex Luthor, Jimmy Olsen and Perry White with announcements expected to be forthcoming.
