Godzilla Minus One
Toho’s “Godzilla Minus One” opened in Japan this past weekend and was a monster hit – the film selling 640,000 tickets and raking in 1.04 billion yen ($6.93 million) in its first three days – ahead of 2016’s “Shin Godzilla” which debuted to $6.1 million.

The $3 million US dollars opening day marked the biggest opening day for any “Godzilla” film, and was three times that of “Godzilla vs Kong”. “Godzilla Minus One” will launch in U.S. theaters starting December 1st. [Source: Mantan Web via Comicbook.com]

Boundary
KOTV and Endemol Shine North America will developt Andree A. Michaud’s 2014 novel “Boundary” into a thriller TV series titled “Boundary Pond”. William S. Messier is writing the first two scripts and a series bible whilst Louis Choquette (“Mafiosa”) is attached as showrunner and director.

Set in 1967, the story is set around a lake spanning across the U.S.-Canadian border between the province of Québec and the state of Maine. A mysterious death rocks the normally peaceful lake community. [Source: Deadline]

Rocket League
Psyonix has announced that Pixar’s “Cars” character Lightning McQueen will be coming to its game “Rocket League” tomorrow (November 7th) as part of a Mega Bundle featuring three different versions of the character. He marks the first dynamic character in Rocket League.

The Velveteen Rabbit
Apple TV+ has premiered a new trailer for its 40-minute Christmas special “The Velveteen Rabbit” based on Margery Williams’ beloved children’s book. Tom Bidwell adapted the work whilst Jennifer Perrott and Rick Thiele direct.

In the one-off special, seven-year-old William receives a new favorite toy for Christmas, he discovers a lifelong friend and unlocks a world of magic. Phoenix Laroche, Helena Bonham Carter, Nicola Coughlan, Bethany Antonia, Lois Chimimba and Paterson Joseph star. The special premieres November 22nd.
