The release schedule is changing up once again with Disney delaying its two Spring 2024 tentpoles.
Along with the year-long delay of the live-action “Snow White” film from March 2024 to March 2025, the upcoming Pixar movie “Elio” has also been significantly delayed.
Originally slated to open March 1st 2024, the film will now open June 13th 2025. The move makes “Inside Out 2” on June 14th 2024 the next Pixar film.
Next up, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse have set a June 27th 2025 release date for “The Black Phone” sequel. Specifics about the story and who will star in the follow-up to last year’s sinister thriller hit are unknown at this time.
Warner Bros. Pictures has announced it has pushed back its “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” release by two days to December 22nd – opening the film on a traditional Friday now.
Barry Levinson’s “Wise Guys” starring Robert De Niro has been delayed from February 2nd 2024 to November 14th 2024 and has undergone a name change to “Alto Knights”.
Finally, Disney has pulled the Jonathan Majors-led bodybuilder drama “Magazine Dreams” from its December 8th release date as it comes just days after Majors faces his domestic violence trial date on November 29th.
