So much for dinosaurs doing parkour.

The upcoming “Jurassic World” semi-reboot is back on the hunt for a director after David Leitch (“Deadpool 2,” “Bullet Train,” “Hobbs & Shaw”) has dropped out of negotiations with Universal Pictures.

According to Deadline, the parting is said to be amicable with the breakdown in talks said to be due to differing creative visions for the project.

David Koepp, who penned the first two “Jurassic Park” films based on the Michael Crichton novels, is set to write the screenplay.

At last report, it’s expected none of the previous stars like Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum will be back as the plan here is to launch a ‘new Jurassic era’.

Producer Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley are returning as is executive producer Steven Spielberg. The franchise so far has spanned six features that have surpassed $6 billion worldwide.

The new “Jurassic World” film is currently still on track for a July 2nd 2025 release.
