Marvel Studios has released a new, 60-second ‘Rampage’ trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series “Echo” which follows Alaqua Cox’s character introduced in “Hawkeye”.
The five-episode streaming event series spotlights deaf Native American hero Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) who has the talent to imitate any opponent’s fighting style.
She is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) criminal empire. When the journey brings her to her hometown in Oklahoma, she must confront her own family and legacy.
Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Graham Greene, Cody Lightning, Charlie Cox, Devery Jacobs, and Zahn McClarnon also star.
The project was shot mid-2022 originally as eight episodes before being heavily reshot and reconfigured into five.
All five episodes will stream on January 9th on both Disney+ and Hulu simultaneously – the first Marvel Studios series to drop all entirely bingeable episodes at once.
It’s also Marvel Studios’ first TV-MA rated series with a tone that looks very akin to the old Marvel-Netflix series like “Daredevil”. The show will remain available on Hulu until April 9th.
