Paramount+ has handed out an official renewal for the third season of its Guy Ritchie-produced “MobLand” series, with Tom Hardy also set to return in the lead role.

In the announcement of the renewal, the streamer says “THE HARRIGANS AREN’T GOING ANYWHERE” and specifically includes their fixer Harry da Souza (Hardy).

Reports back in June indicated the actor would not return for a third season, with talk alleging he clashed with showrunner Jez Butterworth to a point where the two could no longer work together.

Then a meeting in London took place with the team “coming to a great understanding about a path forward” and things working out in a way that ultimately led to this announcement.

The series also stars Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren as crime family patriarch and matriarch Conrad and Maeve Harrigan; Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Jasmine Jobson, Mandeep Dhillon, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Janet McTeer, Jordi Mollà and Toby Jones.

The early renewal comes two weeks away from the show’s second season premiere on September 18th with new episodes unviled weekly through November 20th.
