The first photos have been released from the Jessica Chastain-led Netflix mystery thriller feature “Heartland”.
Filmmaker Shana Feste (“The Greatest,” “Country Strong,” “Endless Love”) pens and directs the film that was shot late last year in Atlanta.
The story follows a former country megastar who emerges from seclusion to investigate the sudden disappearance of her niece, a rising country musician.
She must grapple with her own past and Nashville’s seedy underbelly, and her search uncovers a murky side of the city where no one, including her, is who they seem.
Garrett Hedlund, Carter Faith, Ross Lynch, Ben Dickey, Jennifer Nettles, and John Hawkes co-star.
Jason Owen, Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping are producing. “Heartland” will have its debut directly on Netflix on November 13th.
