Television has never been afraid to kill off a character, but sometimes the way a character dies is so strange that it becomes almost impossible to take seriously. A beloved figure can survive years of danger, betrayals, explosions, and impossible situations, only to meet an oddly specific fate that nobody could have predicted. Sometimes the death was written for shock value, sometimes an actor was leaving the show, and sometimes the writers simply made a choice that left viewers scratching their heads.
