Nicholas Alexander Chavez (“Monster: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story”), Andrés Almeida (“Bardo: False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths”), Martin Bats Bradford (“Hit Man”) and Erika Ringor (“King Richard”) have all joined David Gordon Green’s new action thriller “Supermax” at Amazon MGM Studios and Miramax.
Will Smith and AnnaSophia Robb lead the film which began shooting today in Sydney, Australia. The story follows two FBI agents (Smith & Robb) investigating a seemingly impossible murder within the impenetrable walls of a maximum-security prison. Jaafar Jackson and Jason Clarke co-star while David Weil and David J. Rosen penned the script. [Source: Deadline]
City of Blood
Disney+ and Hulu has premiered the trailer for their new eight-part German vampire horror thriller series “City of Blood” which hits September 16th in the UK. Daniel Brühl executive produces this adaptation of the graphic novel “Berlinoir”.
Set in a dystopian Berlin, the story follows two sisters as they uncover the shocking truth about the city’s hidden power structures – only to find themselves at the center of a life-threatening conflict.

Apple TV has released the first poster art for the Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson-led series “Brothers,” which premieres on the service on April 23rd.
The pair play fictional versions of themselves who find their strong friendship tested when they decide to live together with their families at McConaughey’s Texas ranch after Harrelson’s daughter’s wedding falls apart. While at the ranch, McConaughey and Harrelson uncover a family secret that the two might be brothers.
