Sony PlayStation has announced “Ghost of Yōtei: Complete Edition,” essentially this game’s version of “Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut,” launching on October 1st.
The biggest inclusion is “Echoes of Sekigahara,” the all-new narrative expansion. Split between the present day and flashbacks to Atsu’s time on the mainland, you’ll meet Nagato, a figure from Atsu’s past who has arrived in Ezo.
In the present, you’ll explore a previously unseen valley once inhabited by The Snake and his gang of loyal followers, the Vipers.
In the past, you’ll experience Atsu’s time in the Battle of Sekigahara and a key moment in her life before she returned home for her quest for vengeance. New enemies, weapons, armor sets, dyes, and more can be found.
There’s also “Most Wanted,” a new single-player combat survival mode which is dubbed the game’s spin on ‘roguelike’. All the content from the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition is being incorporated here as well as co-op mode Legends.
The game will retail at standard prices, with existing owners of ‘Yotei’ able to upgrade for just a few dollars.
