Out promoting both “The Odyssey” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” actor Tom Holland’s recent interview comments have sparked a major online discussion about his worst movies.
Appearing on Waitrose’s delightful The Dish podcast, 30-year-old Holland was asked about how the press tour has been going, with the actor having to fly to numerous countries and doing interview after interview.
He surprisingly revealed he had recently developed a severe fear of flying, which he never had before, and added “now that we’re flying every second day, I’m an absolute wreck”.
He then said the actual interviews have been easy because the films in question are great – and that’s not always the case:
“I’m absolutely loving it. When you’re doing press for movies you’re really proud of, it’s really easy. Because when they ask you questions about why should people go and watch this movie, you’re not lying to anyone. You really think people should go see it.
I’ve had experiences before when people say, ‘Why should you see this movie?’ And in the back of your mind, you’re like, ‘You shouldn’t, because it’s s—‘…[This time] it’s felt really like a bit of a victory lap to be honest. I’ve really enjoyed it. I’m super proud of both of the films”
That has sparked much talk about what films he’s referring to there, with “Chaos Walking” being the most commonly cited, followed by “Dolittle,” “Cherry,” “Spies in Disguise” and “Uncharted” all scoring multiple mentions.
