Getting a tattoo is kind of an important decision, since they are not easy to remove. Oftentimes getting rid of them isn’t even an option, and you end up needing an even bigger tattoo to cover it up. But if it’s something you like, that skin decoration isn’t really that bad of an idea, right?
Well, it depends. You might have an idea of what you want to see in your body, but the tattoo artist needs to be up to the task; the art can only be as good as the one making it. You might also find a great artist, but have a tattoo idea that leaves a lot to be desired. These are just some of the worst tattoos we’ve found online.
It’s Been What?
If you’re familiar with the Fourth Wing book series, you’d know that this reads “It’s been my honor,” but the handwriting chosen for the tattoo is incredibly hard to read. Not to mention the poorly painted dragon going alongside it.
The Fallout Reference
It’s not that the joke is bad, per se, the problem here is that this belongs more in a t-shirt you wear on Sundays rather than forever engraved in your skin.
The Wisper
No, that’s not a dog. It’s a devil whispering something, covering his mouth with his hand. Yes, that is a hand, and the two pinetree-looking things are the horns. This is poor execution all the way.
The Viking Curstacean
This is not really a matter of skill, since the original drawing the person wanted looked basically like this. It’s more a case of “why would you want this?” All in all, though, it’s less harmful than other entries here.
Tade and Jeatie?
What we assume this is meant to say is Jade and Katie, but the font (or handwriting) is so bad that we can barely read the names, let alone the second one.
Angelic Paladin Gone Wrong
The idea of a hooded angelic figure, clad in armor, shield in one hand and flaming sword in the other, taking down a demon is fantastic. The execution here is… quite bad, and it covers the poor guy’s entire back.
The Paramedic Confuser
Don’t worry, this is indeed a tattoo. As to why you would want to get a tattoo that looks like you have a medical condition, is beyond everyone. Good luck to them if they ever have a medical emergency.
Backwards Tracks
This may seem like a perfectly fine tattoo, if not due to the fact that the sloth’s tracks are on the wrong side. Unless there was a third one that walked away.
In Poor Taste
Don’t get distracted by the horse, that one is actually well made. The horrible backside middle piece is what takes the cake here, clearly baiting for reactions when going to a pool or the beach.
A Hard To Forgive Tattoo
One thing is to tattoo your fingers, another thing is to have an image that requires multiple fingers to make sense. This should’ve been higher up on the arm, where readability is best.
Too Much
How many tattoos are too many tattoos? Well, arguably all face tattoos are too much, but not for this individual. There’s so much there that it’s hard to tell each image apart.
Watery Crayons
The message of ‘broken crayons, still color’ is a simple yet heartfelt one, although without it, we wouldn’t know these are meant to be crayons. They don’t look like crayons, and they spill color as if it was ink.
