Zendaya Has Had Talks About “Bourne”?

A few months back came a rumour on social media that none other than Zendaya was being eyed to take the lead of a reboot or revival of the Jason Bourne franchise.

A serious source was never found for what was a real left field rumour, and so it seemed to die a quick death. Now it has resurfaced with much more legitimacy, this time over at The InSneider.

Sneider says he’s not reporting today that she’s landed the part, but she “DEFINITELY had discussions about it”.

Both Zendaya and previous Bourne franchise star Matt Damon both appear in the upcoming “The Odyssey,” and Zendaya is currently out doing “Spider-Man” promotional interviews, so this is one rumour that could be verified or quashed fairly quickly.

Sneider previously reported back in February that the new film was “heating up” with “something major going on in relation to casting”.

The franchise overall has pulled in $1.64 billion at the global box office and is generally considered the most successful spy film franchise after James Bond.
