By Legendary and Warner Bros. Pictures have released a rather stunning new series of character posters for Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming sci-fi epic “Dune: Part Two”.
The posters come tied to a major panel for the film underway at CCXP in Brazil today. Much of the main cast of the movie is showing up for the event where the first ten minutes of the film is being screened.
This adaptation of the second half of Frank Herbert’s novel will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family.
Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, and Stephen McKinley Henderson return and are joined by Christopher Walken as Emperor Shaddam IV, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha, and Léa Seydoux as Lady Margot.
The film is rated PG-13 for sequences of strong violence, some suggestive material and brief strong language. It will open in cinemas everywhere on March 1st.
