“KPop Demon Hunters” Coming To Criterion

Netflix’s massive smash hit “KPop Demon Hunters” is joining the Criterion Collection.

The breakout animated musical fantasy film is set to get a special 4K UHD and Blu-ray release from the prestige home entertainment label on December 31st with pre-orders now available.

Additional details about the title’s special features have not yet been announced.

Produced with Sony Pictures Animation and released last June, the film became a massive cultural phenomenon and the streamer’s biggest original film breakout.

It won the Oscar for best animated feature, became the most streamed movie of 2025 and its corresponding soundtrack hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It also was first film soundtrack to place four songs in the Billboard 200’s top 10 at the same time.

A sequel is currently in development at Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation
