Vertical has released a new trailer for “Couture,” which is set to release in theaters on June 26th.
Oscar winner Angelina Jolie stars as Maxine, an American filmmaker who arrives in Paris during the frenzy of Fashion Week.
Drawn into a love story with a familiar collaborator as her path intersects with women of different ages and cultural backgrounds – all fighting to take control of their own destinies – Maxine finds herself on a deeply personal journey of self-discovery that forces her to confront the choices shaping her life.
Louis Garrel, Ella Rumpf, and Garance Marillier co-dtar in the film which is written and directed by Alice Winocour (“Proxima,” “Paris Memories”).
Previously talking about the film, Jolie says: “Too often, films about women’s struggles — especially cancer — talk about endings and sadness, rarely about life. Alice has made a film about life, and that’s precisely why the sensitive subjects it addresses are handled with such delicacy.”
