“Alien: Earth” star Sydney Chandler is set to join the DC Universe, just not in a role she was previously linked to as a potential candidate.

The InSneider reports that Chandler will provide the voice of Nosferata in the second season of James Gunn’s DCU animated series “Creature Commandos”.

The immortal vampire character did briefly appear in the first season and was elected as a new member of the team by the end, along with a rebuilt G.I. Robot, Khalis, King Shark and more.

Nosferata had had no dialogue up until this point, but that won’t be the case in the second season. No other casting for the new season has currently been announced, though likely returnees include Indira Varma, Sean Gunn, Alan Tudyk, David Harbour, Steve Agee, Frank Grillo and Viola Davis.

Chandler was said to be one of the finalists screen testing for the last major role in James Gunn’s “Man of Tomorrow,” a part that ultimately went to “Andor” star Adria Arjona. While that role is rumoured to be Maxima, others suspect it’s a ruse with Arjona really playing Diana/Wonder Woman.

Sydney Chandler’s father Kyle Chandler is already a part of the DCU, the actor playing Hal Jordan in the upcoming HBO series “Lanterns”.
