Following their debut at CinemaCon, two new posters for Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” have been revealed.
The one-sheets came alongside the film’s tease at the event for exhibitors in Las Vegas. Tom Holland was on hand to promote the film, dubbing it the most emotional and most grown-up of his Spider-Man films.
A clip was shown of the house party scene shown in the trailer as Ned (Jacob Batalon) talks with Peter (Holland) and suspects Flash Thompson or Mr. Harrington is really Spider-Man and has invented a spider tracker to find him. Peter also sees MJ kissing her new boyfriend.
Sony studio chief Tom Rothman says the film is “as big as anything we have ever made, yet it feels like nothing we have ever made.” Holland recently confirmed he’d shot additional scenes for the movie in the UK recently.
The Destin Daniel Cretton-directed film will see Holland’s Peter Parker reuniting with Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk and meeting Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher, along with dealing with a number of villains such as Michael Mando’s Scorpion and the return of The Hand.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” opens July 31st.
