Apple TV has premiered the official first trailer for its new dark comedy/thriller series “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed,” led by “Orphan Black” and “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” alum Tatiana Maslany.
The story follows newly divorced mom Paula (Maslany) as she falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer.
Convinced she witnessed a crime – while simultaneously struggling through a custody battle and an identity crisis – Paula begins her own investigation.
Those efforts could unravel a greater conspiracy while also holding the keys to rebuilding her family and sense of self.
Jake Johnson, Brandon Flynn, Murray Bartlett, Jessy Hodges, Jon Michael Hill, Charlie Hall, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg, Nola Wallace, and Dolly De Leon co-star.
The project hails from creator and showrunner David J. Rosen while David Gordon Green directs and is the executive producer.
“Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” premieres on the service with a double episode on May 20th. Eight more episodes unfurl weekly through July 15th.
