The Corrections
Netflix has been set as the home of “The Corrections,” the long-awaited series adaptation of Jonathan Franzen’s novel. Meryl Streep will star, Cord Jefferson (“American Fiction”) will direct, and Franzen will adapt the Paramount Television Studios-produced title.

The story is a sharply comic portrait of a Midwestern family whose three unmoored adult siblings desperately resist their mother’s (Streep) wish for one last Christmas together – each undone by the delusional ambitions that were supposed to save them from becoming their parents. [Source: THR]

Propeller One-Way Night Coach
Apple TV has set a May 29th premiere date for “Propeller One-Way Night Coach,” a film adaptation of the 1997 children’s book of the same name written by John Travolta. The film will have its world premiere at the 2026 Cannes International Film Festival.

Set in the golden age of aviation, a young airplane enthusiast, Jeff (Clark Shotwell), and his mother (Kelly Eviston-Quinnett) set off on a one-way cross-country odyssey to Hollywood, which transforms a simple flight into the trip of a lifetime. Travolta pens and makes his directorial debut on the adaptation. [Source: Apple]
