Two more Netflix titles, both from 2025, are making their way to physical media via The Criterion Collection.

Variety reports that both Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein” and Sony Animation’s “KPop Demon Hunters” have been added to the prestige home video label and will be coming out later this year.

Both films are among the most acclaimed and most-streamed films of last year. Both titles are in contention at the Oscars next month, with “Frankenstein” boasting nine nominations, while “KPop Demon Hunters” has two.

Previous Netflix films to have joined the collection include awards titles like Alfonso Cuarón’s “Roma,” Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman”, Jane Campion’s “The Power of the Dog,” Noah Baumbach’s “Marriage Story”, and Guillermo del Toro’s “Pinocchio.”

Criterion is also adding multiple awards season titles from 2025 to its slate with Joachim Trier’s “Sentimental Value,” Jafar Panahi’s “It Was Just an Accident,” Kleber Mendonça Filho’s “The Secret Agent” all set for the label along with fellow 2025 entry – Bi Gan’s “Resurrection”.
