We love the weekend as much as we hate Monday. The only good thing about Monday is the memes, but for the weekend, there’s so much to look forward to. You can sit down on your sofa, ignore all friends and family, and you can watch movies.
To save you from doom scrolling through movies this weekend, the Last Movie Outpost has some suggestions for you. It saves you from thinking for yourself, which you know is bad for you.
Keeper – Movie – New horror and not every good.
The Outsiders – Movie – Back in the 80s, when things were good.
Five Nights at Freddy’s – Movie – The first one and good 80s fun, but that’s about it.
Cannibal Muckbang – Movie – Indie movie, and one of my favs from 2025.
The Carpenter’s Son – Movie – Nick Cage plays Jesus’ dad…badly.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World – In the style of the Cornetto movies, and still brilliant.
Die My Love – Movie – Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence, and I couldn’t even finish it. Pretentious crap.
Christy – Movie – Sydney Sweeney as a female boxer, and it was better than expected. For a true story, it was pretty shocking.
Oh What Fun – Movie – A Christmas movie with Michelle Pfeiffer, and instantly forgettable.
Cold Skin – Movie – Not bad, but didn’t end very well or explain anything.
American Beauty – Movie – It’s Spacey, but man, can he act, it’s still a great movie.
Night at the Museum 1 & 2 – Movies – Still good fun and a nice bit of imagination.
A Few Good Men – Movie – With the sad passing of Carl Reiner, put this on again, and it’s still brilliant!
Sure Thing – Movie – Another Reiner movie, and again, very good.
Howard’s Way – TV Show – 80s BBC version of stuff like Dynasty. Don’t know what the hell is wrong with Stark? All this 80s nostalgia might have broken him.
So there’s your weekend all sorted? What are you watching?
