Following an ultra-brief 15-second teaser the other day, Amazon Prime Video has now released a full, nearly three-minute trailer for its swashbuckling action thriller feature “The Bluff”.
The film is set in the late 19th century Caribbean and follows a former female pirate who must protect her family when her past catches up to her.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas stars as said pirate, Ercell Bodden. Karl Urban stars as Captain Connor, a pirate with a deep-rooted grudge against her.
Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, Temuera Morrison, Zack Morris, David Field and Pacharo Mzembe co-star.
Frank E. Flowers (“Swallow”) directs the film, which was originally set up at Netflix with Zoe Saldana starring. Shot in Australia back in mid-2024, Zaldana remains an executive producer.
Henry Jackman composed the score for the film that was produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO label. “The Bluff” premieres on the service on February 25th.
