Quentin Tarantino has always had a reputation for saying exactly what he thinks, something which does not always get him universal praise.
Recently, he hit out at Paul Dano, labelling him “the weakest f*cking actor in SAG”. He also said he “can’t stand” Owen Wilson, was disparaging about Matthew Lillard, and said George was “not a movie star”.
Jesus Quentin, why don’t you say what you really think?
Tarantino was on the receiving end of some harsh feedback for putting his opinions across in such a blunt manner.
Clooney was at the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards on Saturday, where he picked up the Best Actor gong for Jay Kelly. As part of his acceptance, according to Deadline, he said:
“By the way, Paul Dano and Owen Wilson, and Matthew Lillard, I would be honored to work with those actors. Honored.
[‘Jay Kelly’ was] made by people who love actors – that’s an important part. People I’ve known most of my life… actually, most of them are actors.
I have a great affinity [for them], and I don’t enjoy watching people be cruel. We are living in a time of cruelty. We don’t need to be adding to it.”
Jay Kelly is turning into an awards darling and getting Clooney some of the best notices of his career.
