They are people who think signing a petition can get the entire final season of Game Of Thrones remade.
Unfortunately for us, the sane ones…
…there appears to be quite a few of them out there.
A petition asking, indeed demanding, that HBO completely remake the final season of Game Of Thrones and this time include “competent writers” set out to get 15,000 signatures.
Eventually, 1.8 million signed it. Jesus Christ, they walk among us!
Now it seems that we aren’t the only ones who find this staggering. Jon Snow star Kit Harington says he was personally offended by the petition.
In an interview with The New York Times, he said he was “genuinely angered” and went on to say:
“How dare you? Sorry, that’s just how I feel. I think it was a level of idiocy that can only come about through social media.”
HBO CEO Casey Bloys previously said that while HBO was aware of the petition, they never had any plans to take it seriously.
