The White Lotus
Alexander Ludwig (“Bad Boys For Life,” “Earth Abides”) and AJ Michalka (“Super 8,” “The Lovely Bones”) have been cast in the fourth season of HBO’s “The White Lotus” which unfolds in France. The God of the Woods
Netflix has signed on to adapt Liz Moore’s novel “The God of the Woods” into an hour-long series. Liz Hannah (“The Girl From Plainville”) and Moore will serve as co-showrunners, writers and executive producers.
The multi-generational drama series is set in the Adirondacks, exploring a family’s dark secrets, class tensions, and the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of 13-year-old Barbara from her family’s summer camp. [Source: Variety]
The Beauty
FX has premiered the teaser trailer for Ryan Murphy’s new series “The Beauty” which premieres January 21st. When international supermodels begin dying in gruesome and mysterious ways, FBI Agents Cooper Madsen (Evan Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Rebecca Hall) uncover a conspiracy that threatens the future of humanity.
The investigation leads them directly into the crosshairs of The Corporation (Ashton Kutcher), who will stop at nothing to protect his trillion-dollar empire, and a sexually transmitted virus that makes people physically perfect – at a high price.
Industry
HBO has premiered the final trailer for the fourth season of its psychosexual financial world drama series “Industry” which returns on January 11th.
Set to New Order’s “True Faith,” the clip shows scenes with Max Minghella’s new character who shares moments with Kit Harington’s returnee from last season.
The series follows a group of young bankers as they forge their identities within the pressure cooker environment of the London office of an international bank.
